When Magic comes calling
Richard Harding meets with Ervin "Magic" Johnson during the NBA Hall of Famer's recent visit to Cambridge. Magic Johnson has invested in a sizable portion of the North Point development in East Cambridge. The real estate will include commercial and residential development, which coupled with the proposed extension of the green line, will significantly change this corner of Cambridge. Richard Harding will look to make sure that residents also benefit from the development of North Point and look to ensure that neighbors have avenues for input.
While Richard Harding is also played a little basketball (Fitchburg State), what he and Magic share most is a deep concern for the well being of their communities and the young people who live and learn therein.
